Our Story

The inception of Synoptics began in very humble settings – with just one man, Mr. Jatin Shah, and his unwavering dream. 

After a decade-long stint in the industry, Mr. Shah incorporated Synoptics Technologies Private Limited in 2008. With sheer conviction and grit, his dream grew from a modest and sparsely populated 300 sq. ft. office into over 450+ employees pan India and a 10,000 sq. ft. office in a prime Mumbai location.

The team at Synoptics set out to use their extensive engineering experiences to provide solutions that utilized the enormous potential in technology partnerships.

It was early 2009 when Synoptics Technologies Limited started offering managed broadband and connectivity services. As part of their new business initiatives we started our innovative offerings to enterprise customers and long-term contracts with Government bodies.

In 2019, the Company was reincorporated as Synoptics Technologies Limited. Today Synoptics has its presence in over 200+ locations pan India. We started out as a humble IT solutions provider in a sea of challenges, and we have now grown in only 12 years to build our own Repair & Distribution centre supporting over 12,000 retail outlets and 300,000 devices in the country. 

We know that we have come a long way. But we are only getting started.

The Road Ahead

The pandemic has showcased the value of digital operating models and it is likely to force many companies and government institutions to speed up their digital innovation and transformation across their functions.

We are confident that this will lead them to accelerate their investments in data-driven decision-making systems. With this in mind, we are foraying into software and cloud service solutions for our client base.

From enterprise customers to small businesses, the investment trends into digital use cases show that the payment models that are being opted for are outcome-based, OPEX based, or ‘pay as you go’ based. Also, access to Cloud infrastructure, Data analytics, Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, 5G, etc are key factors for digital transformation.

And the lifeline of this new modality is data. It is the new oil for this digital economy and organizations have to treat this data as a strategic asset in order to foster innovation.

Managing and protecting the data being generated by organizations and Governments will be one of our key strategic priorities.

The current government’s “Make in India”, “Self Reliant India” initiatives ensure the right policy framework and business environment to enable Indian startups to innovate and churn out globally competitive and scalable products.

Meet our Leadership

Our seasoned leadership puts customer empathy at the forefront of our business approach. 

Jatin Jagmohan Shah successfully completed 25 years of his professional journey in the year 2020. During this time he has navigated hurdles with optimism and he has constantly set higher targets for himself. Throughout he has maintained a goal-oriented attitude while being fully aware of the big picture, a core value that is embraced at Synoptics Technologies Limited.

Jatin’s professional journey began in sales in 1995 after he completed his engineering studies and internship as a Computer Service Engineer. This took place with a Wipro franchise partner where he continued for four years. This remains a fond memory to him even to this day and Synoptics offices are loyal customers of the franchise partner. This speaks to his value of fostering long and strong relationships, a core value at Synoptics.

In 1999, Jatin’s work with Nirmal Datacomm was where his foray into network communications took root. In 2003 he went on to join Tulip Telecom where he picked up the expertise required in RF connectivity. And in 2005 he joined Airtel where he headed and managed a 100+ Cr account.

On such a foundation of a decade of experience, Jatin went on to start Synoptics in 2008 in Mumbai, India. As a leader who leads from the front, he reasoned that the main purpose of establishing Synoptics was bringing technology partnership advantage to our clients and partners.

Jatin’s relentless pursuit of excellence has helped cement Synoptics’ role as a leading technology partner for networking and communication infrastructure in the country.

The future of Synoptics Technologies Limited looks bright with Jatin’s leadership at its helm.

Virang Mankad is an industry veteran having sales leadership experience of over 17 years. He has held leadership positions at large businesses such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro, and Tulip. In his last assignment, he led the domestic sales, international sales & marketing efforts for a technology organization as the CSMO.

At Synoptics Technologies Limited, Virang helms the leadership position for all sales and marketing verticals across the organization. As a sales head, he oversees customer relationships, sales operations, and he champions transformational activities across the board. Virang crafts go-to-market and route-to-market strategies that aid Synoptics in its transformation journey.

As a marketing head, Virang oversees branding, PR, and brand alliance exploration activities. He also drives the digital marketing efforts for Synoptics Technologies Limited. 

Virang is focused on delivering next-generation solutions for our growing client base and he powers our ongoing efforts of venturing into new growth markets.

Ashraf comes with over 19 years of experience in leading business development, practice lead, sales and marketing, pre-sales, client management, new product launches, and partner management. He has worked with organizations like Sify, Airtel, IBM, Veritas and Tulip. In his last assignment he lead the business development for technology integration services and hybrid cloud business.

Ashraf holds a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication and holds various industry leading certifications like CCIE, AWS, CCVP, CCIP. 

At Synoptics, Ashraf is responsible for building new business practices in the areas of Network Integration, Cloud Computing, Network Security, Managed Services & Virtualisation. 

He leads the Business development and technology team and he enables the sales team on new businesses and building GTM approach. He also  handles alliance and partner management as the CBTO at Synoptics.
